Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend this event?
Anyone can register to attend this event! This event has excellent programming for pharmacists from all areas of practice and we encourage all pharmacists to register for this event. Please see the final ACPE activity at
http://scrx.org/cde.cfm?event=266278 for ACPE information. Please also check with your local/state Board of Pharmacy to ensure that the programming meets your current requirements.
I am a student. Can I attend? And are there sponsorships for students?
Students are definitely encouraged to attend. As a student, since no CE is required, you can attend at the guest rate. This covers all event materials, event meals, etc. Pharmacists or other pharmacy supporters may contribute or provide for student sponsorships and those will be provided to interested students on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, pharmacists who are providing sponsorship CAN specify/name a student to receive that sponsorship. If you are interesting in sponsoring a student or want to inquire about available sponsorships, please contact Jennifer Simmons at
jsimmons@scrx.org.
I have booked a spa appointment time that conflicts with a CE course. What do I do?
Each of the sessions for the weekend are credited individually. Should you need to miss a session due to a conflict, you will not received credit for that particular session. Partial credit is not provided. Please keep any credit/program needs in mind when scheduling your spa appointments.
My family member/friend wants to join me for the reception, lunch, and/or breakfasts. Can he/she come? SCPhA has designed the guest rate to cover the cost of event materials (bag, handouts, etc.) and the cost of meal functions (reception, two breakfasts). If your guest plans on attending any of these functions as well, we ask that you register him/her as a guest. Name tags are required at all food and education events.
